WHAT ARE NOTES IN FRAGRANCE?

They are the different scent layers that make up the final fragrance. The scents are broken up into three different elements: 

• Top notes
• Middle notes
• Base notes

All three of these elements work together to create a great fragrance.

HOW DO I PREP A USED CANDLE JAR AND/OR TRAVEL TIN TO BE REUSE?                                                                                                             
Use the oven to melt the remainder of the candle wax:

• Set the oven to 80 C°.
• Place foil or baking paper on a try and place the candle upside down on the tray. 
• Place tray in the oven for 10 - 15 minutes.
• Any wax collected, let cool, and harden.
• Remove the tray and place on a heat resistant surface.         
• Dispose of any harden wax in the garbage.
• Hold your candle container using a towel or a potholder and wipe down the inside with a paper towel, to remove any of the excess wax.
• Se the container down and let it fully cool.
• using a large bowl or bucket with warm water and soap you can use a butter knife to remove any wick tickers or clips.
• Remember don't put your wax down the sink.
• Once the container is fully clean you can dry with a paper towel and let the container completely dry before using it.
• Some suggestions on what to use container for, they could be used as a decorative face, brush holder or another candle.                                          

WHAT IS SOY WAX?                                                                                           
Soy wax is a natural wax, a vegetable wax, made from the oil of soybeans. This candle wax burns longer and does not emit toxins into the environment.

HOW SHOULD I STORE AND CARE FOR MY SOY CANDLES?                    

Store your soy candles in a cool dry place as soy wax can soften in temperatures over 25 C°.  Avoid direct sunlight.

Remember, care should be taken when burning soy candles. Don’t leave them unattended. Keep them out of the reach of children and pets. Always position candles on a flat and heat resistance surface.

El Amore Oak 310 g candles have an average burn time of 48 hours ad our travel candle has an average burn time of 20 hours, if cared for properly. Here are some tips to get the most out of your El Amore Oak candle.

• Always light your candles 2 - 4 hours during the first burn session (until the wax reaches the edges of the vessel) to create an even burn and a long-lasting candles).
• Once you've used a candle a few times, you may notice that soot and other debris have accumulated inside the container. Clean this out the moment you see it. To avoid potential flames being produced in the candles.
• When it comes time to put out your candle, do so carefully.
• We recommend stop using your candle while there's still 1 cm of wax left in it.

IS THERE A RECOMMENDED BURN TIME FOR MY SOY CANDLES?

Yes. The recommended burn time for soy candles is no more than 4 hours at a time.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TRIM THE WICK OF MY SOY CANDLES?

Trim your wick after every burn. Do not trim the wick too much as a short wick will create smoke and uneven burning. Approximately 6 - 10 mm should prevent mushrooming.

WHY SHOULD I TRIM THE WICK AND ONLY BURN YOUR CANDLES FOR 4 HOURS AT A TIME?

A longer wick creates a larger flame, a larger flame melts the wax faster, and the wax melts faster than the wick burns away. So, the longer your candle burns, the larger the flame gets, causing your candle to melt faster. Keeping the wick trimmed and burning 4 hours at a time slows everything down so you get a longer burn time.

WHY IS THERE A BLACK RESIDUE AROUND THE RIM?

Prior to lighting your candle and in-between burns ensure the wick is no longer than 5mm in length, untrimmed wicks will cause smoke and darken the inside of your glass. If there is black residue on the inside of your candle jar, dampen paper towel, wipe clean and throw out used paper towel.

WHAT ARE YOUR CANDLES MADE OF?

El Amore Oak scented candles are made with soy wax, which is vegan, clean-burning, and non-toxic.

We do accommodate a discount on large orders, for events such as:

• Candles as wedding Favours.
• Candles as a gift to your clients or vendors.
• Candles to burn in your salon/spa/hotel.

HOW LONG DO YOUR CANDLES LAST?

If you keep the wick trimmed and only burn them for 4 hours at a time, our 310 g  Candles last approximately 48 hours. Our 70 g Travel Candles last 20 hours.

HOW TO I USE MY CANDLE REFILL?

1. Clean your empty jar; remove any leftover wax. Soak empty jar in hot soapy water (soy wax dissolved easily in water) Dislodge metal wick holder from base. Wash jar until clean and wipe dry.

2. Peel off the tape cover from the wick stickum on the bottom of the wax refill.

3. Insert the refill into the glass jar.

4. Press the refill down into the jar to adhere the stickum to the base of the jar.

5. Light your fresh new candle. Ensure it is lit long enough for the melt pool to reach the edge of the jar. This sets the candle burn memory and ensures an even burn for the lifetime of your candle.

HOW DO I USE THE DIFFUSER REFILL?

Using a reed diffuser refill is a simple and enjoyable way to keep your living space smelling fresh and inviting. To start, all you need to do is remove the old reeds from your diffuser bottle. Then, carefully pour the refill liquid into the bottle, making sure not to spill any on surfaces. Next, insert the new reeds into the bottle, allowing them to soak up the scented oil. Finally, place the bottle in a safe spot, away from direct sunlight or heat sources, and enjoy the gentle fragrance as it fills the room. Remember to flip the reeds occasionally to refresh the scent and make the most of your reed diffuser refill.

HOW CAN I FIND OUT WHEN MY EL AMORE OAK SKINCARE PRODUCT EXPIRES?

You must use these products within 6 months of opening.

IS EL AMORE OAK PRODUCTS TESTED ON ANIMALS?

No. El Amore Oak products are not tested on animals.
